My Departure is Now Imminent!

After a few blurry weeks of packing, preparations, and goodbyes, I am happy to report that it is now exactly one (ONE!) day until I depart for Budapest. Over the weekend I will have a bit of time to get oriented and to make my way to western Ukraine before beginning intensive language classes on Monday. From there I begin a year of hard work, new relationships, and cross-cultural learning.

I still know very little about what to expect in the coming year, but I am grateful for the people I carry with me and prayers that send me off. My hope is to be intentional about partnering with you in my work and asking for your support along the way. I'll be writing and reflecting here. I also plan to send out a quarterly newsletter to friends and supporters. If interested, you can find the sign-up form to the right.
